Here’s a fun, yummy way to celebrate the start of the spring growing season with kids (and kids at heart)! Whip up this simple, rich chocolate pudding, topped with crumbled chocolate sandwich cookies and chewy gummy worms. The pudding can be made up to 3 days in advance, so if you have a couple little helpers coming over to visit, you can just pull the chilled pudding out of the fridge, and let them create their own chocolatey, wormy mud puddles.
Serves 6
Instructions:
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
3 cups milk
6 ounces Taza 70% Deliciously Dark Amaze Bar, chopped
Crushed chocolate sandwich cream cookies, to garnish
Gummy worms, to garnish
To Prepare:
1. In a pot off the heat, whisk together sugar and cornstarch, then whisk in milk and chopped chocolate. Place over medium high heat, and while whisking constantly, bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for an additional 3 minutes then remove from heat and place in serving vessels. Can be made in advance and refrigerated for up to 3 days.
2. When ready to serve, top each pudding with crushed cookies, position gummy worms to stick out of the cookie ‘dirt,’ and serve immediately.
