Sourcing Season: Snapshots from Belize

Next stop this #sourcingseason for our intrepid Cocoa Sourcing Manager, Jesse -- Belize!  Coming soon, Jesse will pen another blog sharing more about his visit with our partner there, Maya Mountain Cacao, so stay tuned.

MMC, which Taza founder Alex Whitmore helped to co-found, is committed to connecting smallholder Belizean farmers to makers of premium chocolate. In their own words, "Our model creates an exceptionally high-quality cocoa bean and a growing source of income for farmers, while contributing to reforestation efforts and promoting sustainable organic agricultural practices in southern Belize."

Enjoy these snapshots from Jesse's visit, and keep following Taza's 2016 #sourcingseason!
